We're Hell or High Water Tattoo Shop, a premier tattoo shop in Oak Grove, KY since 2018. Our team of artists specializes in tattoos, cover-ups, and much more. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for customers of all ages. While we take great pride in our work, we put even more emphasis on providing high-caliber customer service to every person that enters our shop. Our Story

Hell or High Water Tattoo Shop has been providing tattoos to the Fort Campbell and surrounding areas and building long lasting relationships within the community since 2017. Making a name for yourself in an industry as subjective to creativity as tattooing is always difficult but proved to be the right path for the team here at Hell or High Water Tattoo Shop. Our locally owned and operated shop offers high quality work by our skilled artists and we pride ourselves on the provided customer experience with each and every visit.

Home to some of the best tattoo artists in the area, our shop offers one of a kind artwork to bring our client’s dreams to life. Our team of highly skilled artists includes Jonathan Capen, Marcus Mcquillan, Kevin Tattrie, and David Gramman. Our small team’s high attention to detail along with custom designs and consultations ensures client desires are met leaving them totally satisfied.

We specialize in fresh tattoos with unique designs and tattoo cover-ups. Our artists utilize new equipment to provide elite services and keep up with the industry. Tattooing is an art and with any art comes an ever-changing array of popular methods and styles. We cater to creative wants and truly enjoy bringing your dream designs to life with ink, even if it’s challenging.

Here at Hell or High Water Tattoo Shop, we are the preferred choice for veterans. Inspiration can strike spontaneously which is why walk-ins are always welcome, but to ensure we have availability for your session, we encourage our clients to schedule an appointment or consultation to meet with an artist and draw up potential designs.

I had a memorial piece done by Jon. Right from the jump, I knew I wanted him to do my piece for my Austen. I booked out 6 months in advance to ensure this piece was done on his anniversary. Unfortunately, his anniversary fell on Labor Day this year, so I got it done today. This piece is a spitting image of my boy. Jon was super incredible to work with and took the time to get every detail right. This piece has so much meaning to me and watching him take the time on my boy‘s eyes and everything made me emotional. He captured my Austen‘s beauty with the utmost precision. This piece was fairly large and was still very very reasonably priced. The tattoo was completed at the low end of the estimate and was completed faster than estimated as well. Aside from the tattoo itself, he, Kevin, and another customer in the shop maintained conversation with my baby brother and made him enjoy the time there too. The atmosphere, the work, and the artists there are friendly and welcoming. I will only ever get work done here. Please see Jon without hesitation for your realism pieces.
